What caught our little one’s attention were the lovable characters of The Very Hungry Caterpillar from The World of Eric Carle that are featured in the packaging. Very cute, and very different to what is out there. To learn more about the Author, read on after the bonus entries for more details (yes, there is a giveaway!)

The fragrance of every product is great, and we really liked everything we tried. Particularly we wanted to tell you about the bubble bath because we love the philosophy behind it, here is what said Kim Walls, skin care clinician and CEO of Episencial says :

“Bath time is serious fun – it’s a teachable moment between parent and child about what it means to be actively healthy and these products creatively engage the senses of children to learn to care for their skin, body and planet,” “As a mom, I’m proud to be able to offer honestly effective and green products at a reasonable price that can be found at stores I shop at all the time!”

We also loved the loads of fun this bubble bath delivered! Bathtime, as for many kids, is a favorite pastime of our little one. The bubbles lasted a long time, so the fun didn’t disolve quickly. Too busy having fun, baby didn’t have time to realize the great ingredients that were working wonders during bathtime: organic avocado oil, soothing oat extract, organic ginko biloba, green tea extract, mandarin orange, organic lavender oil with plum and peach extract. The best part of it all for mom? You guessed it, the lavender that works its magic to deliver a nice calming bath before bed time! Not to mention the great smell.

We also wanted to bring the Protective Face Balm with SPF 6 to your attention. It works very well bringing relief to chapped skin & lips. It contains organic aloe vera, coco butter, and shea butter, for soothing protection for dry, chapped skin. It also has Zinc SPF 6 for healing and protection from sun, wind, and pollution. The Protective Face Balm is fortified with vitamins A, D, E, and C to help restore and repair skin balance and texture. The balm is also packed with organic raspberry juice, cranberry extract, and grape seed to revitalize skin. Best of all, It went on without being greasy or messy despite being a thick lotion. It goes on the skin, and absorbs quick nicely.
Breaking news: Sunny Sunscreen was recently named one of the top sunscreens for safety and effectiveness according to the trusted Environmental Working Group's annual Sunscreen Guide! Keep in mind that out of 500 sunscreens - only 39 were selected! Wow, congrats!

The product line is not only gentle and healthy for little ones and the planet, but also for your pocket. Yes the line is an affordable one! . Prices for Episencial products range from $5.99 to $14.99, you will agree that these are well below the average prices of natural skincare care products for children. Dying to go buy them? They are now available at Target  and Target.com stores find the Episencial-filled Target near you with their fabulous store locator : http://episencial.com/customer-service/store-locator

Effective, green products Episencial’s line is high quality baby skin care products designed with green values in mind. To sum up the products are:

• professional quality at an unbeatable price
• baby safe for the most sensitive skin – ages 0 to 150
• immunity enhancing with doctor recommended, clinically effective formulas
• free from all the bad stuff – no harsh chemicals
• terrific smelling with real fruit juice extracts – not fragrances
• made exclusively with all natural ingredients and lots of organics
• beautifully packaged in recycled and sustainable materials – phthalate and BpA free
• manufactured under solar power

Add to this fantastic mix the fact that our bonding moments (like bath time) or protecting instances (when applying sunscreen) are tools to teach children to take care of themselves and the planet. If we manage to seize the moment and expand it to the care and cleansing of the planet the result is the creation of something truly powerful, as Episencial calls it, the creation of a Vivid Green Generation. ”Our kids will be the generation that takes environmentalism from a trendy cause and marketing gimmick to a cultural and corporate norm. We can help them make that happen. Because actively healthy can and should be fun. With Episencial products you can begin to instill green values from day one. Sharing these fun and inviting products — and the care and consideration that goes into making them — with your children can serve as a building block for making actively healthy choices for themselves and the planet” Need we say more? Not really, but if you want more, consider the fact that sales of Episencial products benefit the company’s philanthropic partner Healthy Child, Healthy World and its mission to protect children from harmful chemicals.

We couldn’t be happier to offer our readers a fabulous set of these great products. Thanks Episencial for your generosity!
