The Hunger Games Advance Screening Passes!

The heavily anticipated Lionsgate release,THE HUNGER GAMES, is based on the wildly popular book of the same name. The Games begin on March 23, starring Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth and Lenny Kravitz.
The Action/ Drama/ Sci-Fi film takes place in Panem, the ruins of what once was North America. Every year, a teenage boy and girl are selected from each of the 12 districts to compete in the Hunger Games, a terrifying, televised competition in which the object is to be the last one to survive. Katniss takes the place of her younger sister as the female tribute from District 12 and finds herself in the fight of her life.

At its heart, the film is about the sacrifices one makes for his/her family. Katniss saves her mother and sister but also embraces a new family – the fellow tributes she befriends at the Games – and fights just as hard to save them as well.

The advance screenings of the film  are for Wednesday, 3/21 and will be held  in

Dallas,
El Paso,
Houston,
Los Angeles,
Miami,
New York,
Phoenix,
San Antonio and
San Jose.
