Secret of the Wings

Recentely we attended a pre-screening for Disney's newest upcoming animated feature release: Secret of the Wings: an incredible journey with Tinker Bell!  It will be released on October 23rd.

This is Disney's the first Fairies movie in over two years. Here is the synopsis:
Join Tinker Bell and friends on their new adventure into the never-before-seen mysterious Winter Woods, where Tinker Bell finds out that she has a sister and discovers other incredible secrets that will change her life forever. For the fairies of Pixie Hollow, the Winter Woods are strictly off limits.  A ,ystserious force dras Tinker Bell to cross the border where she discovers a secret that will change her life forever.

A magical fairy adventure for the whole family, “Secret of the Wings” features a spectacular voice cast including Academy Award®-Winner Anjelica Huston (“Smash”) as Queen Clarion, Timothy Dalton (“Chuck,” “The Living Daylights”) as Lord Milori, Lucy Liu (“Southland,” “Charlie’s Angels”) as Silvermist, Raven-Symoné (“That’s So Raven”) as Iridessa, Megan Hilty (“Smash”) as Rosetta the Garden Fairy, Pamela Adlon (“Californication”) as Vidia, Matt Lanter (“90210”) as Sled, Debby Ryan (Disney Channel’s “Jessie”) as Spike, Mae Whitman (“Parenthood”) as Tinker Bell, and introducing the sparkling new winter fairy, Periwinkle, voiced by Lucy Hale (ABC Family’s “Pretty Little Liars”).

Our take on Secret of the Wings: The movie was beautiful in every sense.
The story was sweet, the characters had tenderness in their own fairy way, the colors and scenery were magestic.
It reflected the vivid imagination of a child.
My sister and I felt drawn to the story from the very beginning and we hoped it would not end . We wanted to continue being the audience of a land with nothing but good in it. The movie was as pure and sweet as can be. No dramatic turns and nothing to keep our kids from viewing. Just pure bliss.  for a moment we really forgot we were at the movies with the kids as we both rejoiced in the beauty of the sisterhood theme going on which implies a great sacrifies from Tinker Bell for her sister and als Pixie Hollow.  Here is where we found the biggest lesson of all: taking care of family and community
