I received wooden spoons in return for my post. All opinions are my own
My French- Italian grandmother was always happy in the kitchen.
She always said caring for family was preparing the best meals at the best table ever. To achieve this key was getting the best ingredients, cooking with your favorite utensils and pots, and pouring your love into the meal being prepared.
Yes, food was always delicious and a party at grandma's. Every time I think back to those happy memories, her wooden spoon stands out. This silent kitchen tool had plenty of uses. Not only would she cook every time with it, she would use it to point at things, swat wondering hands in the kitchen, and threaten misbehavers.
