We have to be honest, before witnessing the event firts hand, we knew about the American Girl beautiful dolls, and the craze it is, but we did not know much more. We were not aware of key points that totally relate to what we stand for at Cool Moms Cool Tips (like self-confidence, education, tolerance, quality and support). In a new fun, special way of bringing girls to the forefront, the company has a dance event going on right now.
Inspired by Isabelle, American Girl’s 2014 Girl of the Year, fans will learn the moves to "UR Your Own Star" song from the upcoming movie! Visit American Girl here and get all the steps there for a chance to perform the dance live for the camera with other girls at the free store event, for a chance to appear in a final cut dance video.The final video will debut at the Isabelle movie premieres at American Girl retail stores in July, and online on August 1.
Besides the opportunity to be featured in the video, participants receive a certificate of accomplishment for their participation, a place to capture their memories of the event, and a special URL where they can go to get two free songs from the Isabelle movie soundtrack, “UR Your Own Star” and ”Pond Dreams.”

Last week, the event took place at the Falls Mall in Miami. Girls were very excited to be a part of it all!

There was a practice session before the actual on stage performances took place, and then it was off to the stage with the cheers of family, friends and the lively staff hosting the event. The staff was amazing getting everyone excited, and catering to all the participants. They were very caring and ultimately mentors of sorts for the time spent together. It was an all day affair, so there was plenty of time for every girl to have their turn and chance.
