We can't wait for tomorrow! On July 2nd the new film "Earth to Echo" will be in theaters and we are very ready to watch it!
Here is a little of what you can expect to see:
It Definitively looks like the perfect summer movie to enjoy with the kids! It is a PG film. There seems to be a lot of bike activity will take place and that is perfect for us because the kids are right now into adventures into the faraway mysterious lands that our local bike path allows them to go :-)
Here is the synopsis of the movie:
In Relativity’s PG summer family adventure movie, Tuck, Munch and Alex are a trio of inseparable friends whose lives are about to change. Their neighborhood is being destroyed by a highway construction project that is forcing their families to move away. But just two days before they must part ways, the boys begin receiving a strange series of signals on their phones. Convinced something bigger is going on, they team up with another school friend, Emma, and set out to look for the source of their phone signals. What they discover is something beyond their wildest imaginations: a small alien who has become stranded on Earth. In need of their help, the four friends come together to protect the alien and help him find his way home. This journey, full of wonder and adventure, is their story, and their secret.

In addition to wanting to watch the movie we are happy to share about "Code: Echo" initiative, With support from Code.org, a non-profit organization dedicated to making computer science more available in schools, Relativity has just launched a new challenge for students across the country to use code to create a game inspired by EARTH TO ECHO.
Coding is the basic concept of computer programming, and what is used to create software, apps and websites. With "Code: Echo", students are challenged to create their own games using code-instead of playing what's already out there. Kids can visit www.codeechomovie.com to participate, and test themselves in three different categories: Best Story Tie In, Best Puzzle Game and Best Action Game.
In preparation for the release tomorrow we are planning a night bike ride tonight! Will you be watching Earth to Echo this summer?
