Our little ones can't get enough of Jake and the Neverland Pirates from Disney Junior and they fun adventures.
Without exception all of them plan on being pirates this year and respond Aaaaarrr to mom's questions. Very cute, and we love, how their imagination sets sail while they count the doubloons they earn as they complete different do-good tasks. While the kids are fans of the show, we are not far behind them. As parents we appreciate that team work and friendship are always the underlying themes to lively and fun stories.
On October 16th everyone will be able to enjoy a full length movie of "Jake and the Neverland Pirates: Jake Saves Bucky" on DVD and digital copy combo.
Here is the synopsis of it:
Yo ho, let's go! Set sail with Jake and his crew on a full-length, high-speed adventure on the high seas. According to the Never Land pirate code, Jake and his crew must race Bucky against the Jolly Roger and the sneaky Captain Hook. But if Bucky loses, he'll belong to Hook forever! Of course, Hook uses every trick in the book and wins the race!
But, Jake and his crew might have a way to get Bucky back. With the help of Peter Pan, the young pirates embark on an adventure across Never Land that includes getting past a fire-breathing dragon! With your help, Jake's crew can save Bucky from the devious Captain Hook!
It's upbeat music, fun activities and gold coin collecting will keep the children engaged and entertained. It also pulls them into to the action as it talks directly to the viewers.
There is a strong emotional moment when Jake's crew says good-by to Bucky, so some reassuring that it will be all alright in the end might be needed.
Besides the full length movie, the combo pack includes 4 additional episodes, and as a bonus it features “Pirate-oke”, so everyone can sing along to wonderful pirate tunes.
