Am I Blurry? Tell Me, What Do You See?

There is so much we take in from the world through our eyes!  Some of us can relate to the phrase love at first sight.  We go through photo albums or pictures, and as we look at them, relive cherished memories and fun times.  All this is possible for the amazing pair of eyes on your face ;-).
Grateful for them we are on a mission to care for them properly.
This is why we are teaming up with Transition Lenses and their Sightseeing Program- See More Sights.  This opportunity comes with an eye exam as well as eye glasses if needed.

Mr. Cool Mom has been complaining about his sight, so off we went to Four Eyes.  I have to tell you, we were impressed by the level of service and professionalism.  They are truly concerned your eye health and about giving you the right alternatives for your lifestyle and needs.  I will always entrust the care of my delicate yet powerful eyes to Four Eye anytime!
photo.JPGFor the eye exam, we encountered the traditional trusty board of letters and numbers at different sizes.  I loved how for children, they use boards with images like hearts and stars: cute and effective.
Did you know there is now a machine that can evaluate your eyes without having to dilate your pupils?

After all the questions, measurements and testing, it turns out hubby needs glasses to see far objects.  Oh boy, this one will be good, I thought because he drives a lot needs his sunglasses under the intense Miami sun.  Furthermore, we were told about the dangers of UV rays which among the consequences can bring on cataracts. My concerns were quickly dispelled when we knew we were getting Transition lenses for this glasses because they are clear indoors and adapt to the different light outdoors to protect your eyesight while becoming eyeglasses and sunglasses at the same time.  In doing this, Transition Lenses:
Hubs chose thick blue frames to go with his Transition Lenses.  He also chose the gray lenses over the brownish ones.  Alida who was great helping us, explained that the two colors are available to match preferences and frames.  Additionally, because sometimes the optician will recommend a certain color of the two based on the evaluations performed.
photo.JPGThe next step was measuring the distance of the eyes and the pupils.  Once that was done, we had to wait a couple of days to get the eye glasses.
Now with the eyeglasses in hand,, hubby has been very happy seeing clearly and not even thinking about where he left his sunglasses as he wear them all the time easing from indoor and outdoor environments with easy.  All he does is let the Transition Lenses do the work, while he has the peace of mind that regardless of our Florida sun, he eyes are protected at all times.
He has mentioned how much better colors look, specially of traffic lights and food!  Tomorrow we get to test the eye glasses further at  Sightseeing TM On-site Experience at the Food Network® South Beach Wine & Food
Festival!

Getting Transition Lenses is as easy as getting any other pair  with the added values mentioned above.  "Transitions Lenses: helping people see life in the best light" indeed!
Fit for the entire family, we encourage you to include in your to do list a routine check up of your family's eye health.

This is part of a sponsored campaign with Latina Mom Bloggers and Transitions Optical. I was provided with a
complimentary eye exam and pair of eyeglasses to test for the purpose of this campaign. However, all opinions
expressed are my own.
