Girl time! Any occasion is wonderful to have an all girl party. We were fortunate to have the perfect excuse thanks to the new Barbie Mariposa and The Fairy Princess movie sneak peak
We wanted to have a fun viewing of of the movie that comes with it.
We decided on a garden party!
This was the setting for our outdoor theater. We had to wait for dusk to actually see the movie, so in the meantime we colored fabulous wings to wear as we watched the movie. We pinked out our accessories played with stickers and had yummy food to eat. Our little princess had requested jam chews and chorizo for her Barbie fairy party
As you can imagine, we had a fabulous time. We also baked together butterfly cookies, and that just raised the volume of the group as we all moved into the kitchen to bake together.
When it came time for the movie we were mesmerized by a story that tells a magical adventure of Mariposa who is the royal ambassador sent to bring peace between her land ( Flutterfield) and its rival (Crystal Fairies of Shimmervale). The adventure begins when Mariposa encounters and evil fairy plotting to destroy the beloved kingdom of Shimmervale. Like a true friend she is of the fairy king's daughter, Mariposa rushes to help Catalonia, her princess friend. Together, these two friends save the fairy land together.
