Join Dorothy and friends for a fun family day filled with FREE arts & crafts, games, character meet & greets and story time during the Legends of Oz Express event at Jungle Island on Saturday, May 24th. From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., kids will enjoy a variety of wizard-like activities by simply following the yellow brick road.
Highlights include a Lion’s Mane Stage with singing and improv games based on the new film and its characters; a Scarecrow’s Workshop to learn how to engineer a candy catapult and build Tugg the Tugboat; a Tin Man’s Friendship Club featuring custom friendship buttons to take home; book readings with Dorothy; ipad stations with Oz Virtual World games; pictures with Dorothy, Toto and Wiser the Owl at the Emerald City; plus previews of the upcoming movie “Legends of Oz: Dorothy’s Return!”
